HongKong movies became incredibly popular since they would have english subtitles. Not only because the Americans or English would be able to read…but its a language many people in the world find easier to study. So HK films had a huge following worldwide. Japanese Animation did the same and we see how popular their animation and toys have become. If thai films were released on DVD with an english option it would boost sales, help the economy, and open up the culture to the world.
