Fighting Fish

A Thai action film tells the story of a French boxing champion, Mike, who lands in Bangkok and soon, unluckily, is robbed blind by a gang of tuk-tuk ruffians  Mike teams up with Yo, a Thai slum dwelling man and a martial arts expert. They get involved n an underground gladiatorial tournament and set out to beat up the bad guys.

It turns out to be an evil plan so that that her best friend, Nong, can have the man for herself. What follow’s is Vipawee’s vengeful spirit out to raise hell and the story presents nine different people who have to deal with her ghost.

Jan Dara

Based on a famous Thai erotic novel, the film tells the story of Jan, a boy who grows up in a house lorded over by his sadistic and debauched father, Luang Wisnan. Set in the 1930′s the story recounts the growing pains of Jan, whose mother dies while giving birth to him and who’s intensely hated by his father. Jan grows up with Aunt Wad, his stepmother, and he struggles to reconcile his guilt and longing with different women in his life, including a girl called Hyacinth, whom he adores, and later Madame Boonleung, his father’s lover who becomes a key to Jan’s sexual awakening.

Hmong, Blood for Freedom

During the war against the communists, a Thai soldier risks his life to save a Hmong boy from a burning village in the north. The boy grows up to be Captain Songkiat, a soldier who pledges his loyalty to the The Thai nation. As the war wages on, he is sent to persuade the Hmong people in Khao Kor to side with the Thai army, but because of his Hmong blood, the army suspects that he might switch sides and sends another soldier to supervise him.
